AI Disclaimer
As a company that advises clients on AI governance, we think you're owed a plain answer to "do you actually practice this yourselves?"
Where we use AI
We use AI (Anthropic's Claude models) internally, as a drafting and research aid for our own consultants — for example, assisting with proposal language, summarizing meeting notes into structured follow-ups, preparing for discovery calls, and generating internal digests of a client's risk-profile changes over time. Every one of these is a tool a consultant uses; none of them acts or communicates on its own.
Where we deliberately don't use AI
- Your assessment score is not AI-generated. It's computed by fixed, deterministic scoring logic directly from your own answers — see our Assessment Disclaimer.
- The findings and priorities shown on your assessment results are not AI-generated either — they come from pre-written guidance content matched to your lowest-scoring topic areas, not a language model summarizing or interpreting anything.
- We do not use AI to make an autonomous decision about your pricing, your risk classification, or the scope of your engagement.
A human reviews everything before it reaches you
No AI-assisted output from our internal tools is sent to a client, published, or acted upon without a named consultant reviewing it first. You are always dealing with a person who is accountable for what they send you — AI-assisted or not.
How we guard against AI fabrication
Language models can state things confidently that aren't true. At least one of our internal AI features already has a working safeguard against this: before an AI-generated summary reaches a consultant, every specific claim it makes is checked against the real underlying data, and anything that doesn't check out is removed — even if only part of a summary is affected, the unverifiable part is dropped while the verified part is kept. We're extending this same principle — verify before a person sees it, or label it as unverified — across our other AI-assisted features over time.
What this means for your data
If you're an active client, information related to your engagement may be included in prompts to our AI provider when a consultant uses one of these internal tools while serving you. See our Privacy Policy for our vendor list and data-handling practices, and contact us if you'd like more detail about a specific feature.
